Bellawa is a brand of Rauscher, founded in 1899 in Vienna to manufacture and sell surgical dressings and nursing products.
In just a short time, Rauscher had become one of the leading suppliers of dressings and hygiene products in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
In 1998, Rauscher founded a joint venture together with Lohmann, a German manufacturer of medical products, under the name of Lohmann & Rauscher International GmbH & Co KG.
Their strengths lie in the production of cosmetics products made from wadding, feminine hygiene products, First Aid products and bandages. Their success is founded on a high degree of customer orientation and high standards of quality.
